This is a video blog of my journey in Korea. I flew over here from Atlanta, Georgia on March 8th and it is currently 9:48 pm on Wednesday March 10th, local time. I've never done a video blog so I'm very new to this. My friend had bought me an iflip as a gift before I left for Korea and I thought it might be kind of cool to make a video journal throughout my trip to let my friends and family know how I'm doing. Even if you don't know me, you are more welcome to check out my posts. While studying journalism, I thought this would add a whole new perspective to my undergrad major. One thing that I'm not too excited about is uploading these videos on to "youtube" in order to embed them onto my blog. I made sure to disable comments on youtube in case some random person that hates their life comes across my videos and decides to write unnecessary and mean comments. There are some heartless people out there in the world of youtube and I don't need feel like dealing with their comments so if you'd like to leave any feedback or write to me, you can do it through here.
This is obviously my first post and I didn't go through the videos and edit or anything. As I progress, I will start editing and transitioning with background music and all that good stuff so please don't let this boring post lead you to never visiting my video journal again.
Anyways, I uploaded three videos for this first one and none of them are really meaningful. I just needed something to start it all off.
This first video is just me taking one final look around my room back at home in Atlanta. I'm sorry for not sounding excited or anything...
This was recorded on the first night after I had arrived and unloaded a little. I wasn't feeling too well and was definitely exhausted from the flight. I ended up sleeping at 9 pm... It was awesome
My first morning and first full day. I woke up pretty early...
I had recorded myself walking around the local area but ended up deleting them because I realized I'm not very good at speaking in front of a camera. I will have to get over the fact and eventually get better at it through practice. Tomorrow, I will do just that.
The first full day didn't have too much action and I didn't leave the apartment for too long. I don't have anything planned yet and my classes start on April 1st but hopefully, tomorrow will have more to offer.
